The Education & Study Fair is Belgian Student Platform’s most influential event. Promoting higher education is one of the main objectives of the association, which is why they aim to inform students on their opportunities and the courses available.
Making the right university and course choice is the key to success. Therefore, students from different universities and high schools had the chance to represent their institutions to younger students. Moreover, students had an insight of university life in four different workshops.
The fair ended by a mini piano-concert by Halil Furkan Bektas and a concert by Magalie Lumumba. The chairman of UGent Paul van Cauwenberge also gave a speech and mentioned that these kinds of events are very important in the education of the youth. Finally, the Minister Pascal Smet spoke about the platform, describing it in three words: innovative, enthusiastic and well-organised.
