Ready for an adventure. |
On February 10, Meridiaan’s invitees had the chance to become full-grown inventors during the excursion to the Technopolis Center in Mechelen.
At the center, the students experimented enthusiastically with all sorts of scientific technologies.
Technopolis is widely known for its interactive way aimed at raising students’ interest in learning and science and again the center came up to expectations: all students were fascinated by the hands-on activities, including a session with the Graff-generator, a device generating static electricity. This device elicited a few giggles, because once touched, it makes your hair go up. The after-show about chain reactions also caught the students’ attention.
After the visit, the children begged for a follow-up visit. Meridiaan promised to take their suggestions into account. Hopefully, next trip will be as magical as this one.
