No tricks, only treats: La Tulipe and partners organise spooky Halloween-festivity for children

On 31 October, the Sainte-Agathe park in Liège was filled with excited children, all dressed
up for Halloween. They were guided through a special circuit, laid out by La Tulipe
and its partners (amongst others the socio-cultural association Sainte-Marguerite and other local organisations). Every organisation had its own stand, full of fun-tastic activities.

While participating in the activities, children were invited to taste different candies. In fact,
the more obstacles they overcame, the further along the track they advanced, up until the
point where they met the storyteller on the top of the hill. Along the way, volunteers
dressed up as vampires tried to scare them, but in the end, they all reached the end of the
parcours for a guided horror story-tour through the park.

To end this sweet, but horrifying day, the participants went trick or treating in the local
neighbourhood so that they could return home with pockets filled of candy.
