Too much choice. |
Meridiaan Aalst (Mozaïek) organised a Mediterranean breakfast on 10 December, in partnership with NGO Watertorenwijk. This partnership was founded during the shared iftar-evening, the meal consumed after sunset during the month of Ramadan. At that time, the two associations worked hard to bring family and friends together to share Turkish delicacies. The Mediterranean evening was once more a successful example of collaboration and cross-pollination.
Women from Meridiaan arranged the generous buffet, which stimulated pleasant conversations among the participants. Families, friends and were brought closer together. As was the case on the iftar-evening, this evening also promoted dialogue and forged lasting friendship bonds.
Obviously, the successful collaboration between the two associations should persist in the future as well. Who knows, they might just organise a tea night in the future.
